We facilitate the process to develop a long-range, written strategy and plan to accomplish major strategic goals in key result areas of the organization. This process is customized to suit the client’s specific needs and can include ongoing progress checks to insure implementation of near-term tasks.

We know by experience that the process by which an organization creates its long-term strategy is not as important, but more important than the written document. By carefully crafting the steps taken to create the plan, people throughout the organization can participate and support the goals therein.

At Phillips Industrial Services, we facilitated the creation of a long-range plan with immediate short-term results. The process ignited a turnaround in performance and provided the basis for the fastest growth in the company’s 35-year history.

For Lowcountry Children’s Center, we led a strategic planning process, which improved communication between Board and staff members and created a clear direction for activities in support of the plan.

Systems

We help clients look at systems from the customer perspective. What does the customer want? How do we help the customer get it? Which systems support this? Which systems make things difficult for the customer?

Sales systems, fulfillment systems and follow through systems should all be designed with two things in mind: creating a new customer and keeping the existing customer. The organization’s objective must be to make these systems consistent with the strategy and cause them to function in support of customer wants and needs.

At Landmark Construction, we fostered a system of information sharing and accountability resulting in increased retention, greater customer satisfaction and an improved mix of bid versus negotiated work.

For Charleston Therapeutic Massage, we created a system to turn inquiries into client visits, resulting in higher returns on marketing and advertising dollars.

People

Once strategy and systems are working, obstacles are removed and people can become very productive. Selecting and hiring the right people, in sync with the company’s goals, is critical. Keeping those people comes from clearly communicated responsibilities, regular accountability, supportive coaching and timely recognition and reward for individual and team accomplishments.

At Barkley/Fraser Real Estate Services, we coached individual agents on sales skills and productivity issues, resulting in improved performance and customer satisfaction.
