With more than 23 years of marketing and business experience, John Carroll applies a wealth of knowledge and ideas to client challenges. His work in organizational development spans a wide range of industries and covers many phases of those businesses. John is president of Unlimited Performance, a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, firm specializing in organizational and individual performance improvement. He has trained hundreds of sales professionals and facilitated strategic planning, annual retreats and leadership development for dozens of organizations, large and small, business and not-for-profit.

  As part of a manufacturer’s marketing team, John helped one company double its sales in three years to more than $58 million. He has also written a column on sales and marketing for the Charleston Regional Business Journal. John has started two businesses and is co-founder of two other organizations.

John served as director of training for Cameron & Barkley Company, where he led the creation of CamBar University. He has facilitated learning in quality improvement, sales and sales management, leadership development, time management and personal improvement.

An accomplished, informative and engaging speaker, John has spoken nationally and internationally on several topics. He presents workshops on strategic planning and open-book management as a regular member of the faculty of the University of Industrial Distribution. He has moderated educational sessions at the annual Gathering of Games, an international conference of organizations practicing open-book management.

John has earned recognition for both Facilitation Excellence and Sales Excellence by Brian Tracy International, a worldwide network of business consultants, speakers and training professionals. The Industrial Distribution Association gave him special recognition for his role in the creation of its Core Curriculum.

He is the first lay person to serve on the Clergy Personnel Advisory Board for the Catholic Diocese of Charleston. He also serves as a Board member of the Lowcountry Children’s Center for prevention and treatment of child abuse in Charleston.
