• Expedited Onboarding: While facing one of the largest nursing strikes in the nation, Fairview used self-directed eLearning to guide 1,500 nurses through 18 different nurse learning paths in just 5 days, getting new hires caring for patients faster, without sacrificing the quality of training.  

• Smooth Go-Lives and Upgrades: Fairview prepared affiliates to use new technology by scaling training across sites virtually and delivering role-based simulations during a double Epic upgrade.  

• Digital At-The-Elbow Support: Faced with a limited number of trainers and a geographically dispersed workforce, Fairview increased adoption of their Epic eConsent workflow from 7% to 87% by embedding role-based simulations in the flow of work. Epic ASAP, Optime and Coverage also have embedded “how do I” questions, learning materials and insurance information to support users in the workflow.  

• Effective Communication: Fairview instills confidence and readiness amongst clinicians by fostering collaboration, multi-channel communication and proactive training strategies, ensuring they feel empowered and well-equipped for change.  

• Increased Provider EHR Satisfaction and Positive Feedback: Physicians at Fairview who utilize uPerform self-directed learning have significantly increased satisfaction over physicians who have not.
