Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive the definition, prioritization, and delivery of key features across the uPerform platform. This role bridges business strategy, UX design, and engineering execution — ensuring we deliver high-impact, high-quality capabilities that improve user adoption and learning outcomes.

You’ll own one or more major product areas and serve as the connective tissue between stakeholders, the UX team, and engineering. You will balance vision and execution: shaping roadmap priorities, managing backlogs, clarifying requirements, and validating releases to ensure our solutions meet customer and market needs.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Product Management to translate product strategy into actionable roadmaps and release plans.
  • Own the product backlog for your area — defining, prioritizing, and refining user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and Engineering to define clear requirements that balance usability, performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals, technical constraints, and customer outcomes.
  • Conduct feature reviews, customer demos, and acceptance testing to validate delivery quality.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for your product domain, supporting go-to-market and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to measure product success and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional standups to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Support the VP of Product & Engineering in shaping long-term roadmap direction and release strategy.

 

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle — from concept to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Ability to write clear, concise user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — equally comfortable discussing business value with leadership and technical details with developers.
  • Experience using analytics and customer feedback to drive prioritization decisions.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in digital adoption platformsperformance support tools, or learning management systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with healthcare enterprise systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) or other regulated domains.
  • Background working with UX and design systems, or collaborating closely with design teams.
  • Experience with AI-assisted product capabilitiesembedded UX patterns, or contextual in-app guidance.
  • Certifications such as CSPOPSPO, or equivalent agile credentials.
