Topic: Transforming Education and Communication for Epic-to-Epic Conversions
Time: Thursday, May 7, 9:30 AM – 10:10 PM
Location: Training Advisory Council (TAC 18)
Speaker: Katie Burroughs, Sr. Instructional Designer, Emplify Health

One organization faced the challenge of training 10,000+ users in an Epic-to-Epic conversion. Hear how, by embedding learning links directly in Epic, they bypassed network division, cut training time, reduced costs, and gave users instant access to resources. This tech-driven approach enabled a small team to do more with less, boosting workflow adoption, efficiency, and user satisfaction.

Topic: Big Shifts, Bigger Outcomes: The New Era of Epic Learning
Time: Thursday, May 7, from 10:30 AM – 11:10 AM
Location: Training Advisory Council (TAC20)
Speaker: Derek Harley, Epic Learning Manager, M Health Fairview

One organization redesigned its entire Epic learning journey in just one year—achieving completion that was expected to take 18-24 months. By shifting all roles to asynchronous, role-based onboarding and embedding learning directly inside Epic, it reduced training friction, accelerated new-hire readiness, and created a sustainable, career-long learning ecosystem. This rapid-scale model returned time and money and maintained satisfaction.
